Breakfast at the hotel. What I thought were dumplings, but Danika says are called steamed buns - they had some sort of pork-ball inside, pretty good. We all went to the beach in the morning - just walking, not swimming. Even though the Typhoon was 'over' the waves were still huge so swimming wasn't allowed. Oh well, I found a hammok that was AWESOME.
- Split up w/ G and D
- Lunch at Smokey Joe's: DIY Fajitas. mmmm
- Walk out to Sailor's Rock (? on the name): interesting to see, climbed on the rocks, prob about 2 miles from our hotel.....needless to say we got sunburned even with sunscreen on.
- Walk back and stop at a creepy underground "shopping mall" and then to Caesars Recreation Area (? on that name too) where we ran into Geoff and Danika. We weren't allowed to swim, but since the waves were so huge we stood on the beach and were hit by water....almost the same as swimming. CKE made a sand castle and we tried to wait for a huge wave to come and destroy it, but it never happened.
- Back to shower and relax at the hotel until dinner at Di Di's, a thai restaurant that was delicious. We had chicken fried rice (whoo, variety) and basil chicken. Both were pretty good and went well with the Corona I had. (CKE tried a margareta, but was no good)
- Then off to the night market. Pretty much the same stuff as all the rest of them, but was still interesting to see all of the people, cars, and vendors trying to use the same street.
- We were going to try and get to a bar, but each sign I looked at had like a 10 USD cover charge. Meh.
- Then back to the Hotel for sleep at 10:45ish pm
