Breakfast at the Hotel of toast. Tried to find the Jade market at 10:30ish – found some jade vendors, but don’t feel like we found “the market.” CKE and I didn’t buy anything for a fear of getting ripped off, but Geoff bought a wood box for NT$1000. Then we went in search for a department store so that CKE could buy a new blanket, but couldn’t find one. Geoff and Danika wanted to shop and CKE and I wanted to head home to relax so we split up. CKE and I went to TGI Fridays for lunch; you read that correctly – Quesadillas and pasta, awesome.
We made it back to the apartment after standing on a train for over an hour and taking a cab and took it easy for the rest of the night.
