Update...

School:  First study period is over (they do quarters here) and I got an A on my design project!!  They told us to be happy if we got C's because with how they grade, that is a high score...  so my group and I pretty much rock.  We are 3 weeks away from being done with the second study period.  We have been doing a design project a week with different group.  Too bad we don't get enough time to make anything portfolio worthy...  We also had a little family tiff this week when we, as student, finally got fed up with being at the bottom of the food chain.  Long story short we are supposed to have a studio space but we get kicked out on an almost daily basis and have to spend all of our time trying to find a place to work rather than working.  Oh and they put the material from a 15 credit course into our 7.5 credit course...so we have been busy.

Weather:  It is dark here by 3.  Not much else to say on that except it is crazy how early you want to eat dinner and go to bed here.

Workouts: Sort of starting getting ready for my marathon the past few weeks by getting in a few days of running and lifting each week.  The big training kick off is on Nov. 28th....and I am terrified.

Food:  Thanksgiving is next week and I am cooking for 10-15 people...in sweden!  This week I am going to be busy hunting down all the ingredients I need including of course a Turkey.  I am not sure how I am going to prepare the bird, but the sides are going to be: Mn mushroom and wild rice stuffing, Cranberry sauce, Mashed Potatoes and gravy, Green bean casserole, dinner rolls, and of course pecan and pumpkin pie!

If you have any idea how to prep a turkey, feel free to give me some tips.  Salt and butter...that is all I know...

Events:  Let's see what I have done recently...yesterday some friends and I went to a big air ski/snowboard competition at Stadion (site of the 1912 olympics), with hot chocolate and a kanelbulle after...mmmmm (don't worry, I will learn how to make these and take care of y'all when I am home next).

We had a serbian dinner last week with my good friend Petar's family.  Lots of bread with some rice things etc.  Also went for a nice walk downtown last weekend with a coffee at a super cute place in Gamla Stan (after I suggested this place to a boy he said, "you know that is a huge gay place right?" - I of course had no idea until of course I stepped inside...but the coffee was great!)

On All Saints Day we went to the cemetery and lit candles...it was an awesome holiday.  The place was packed!  My camera died, so I didn't get so many pics, but I will try to get some from my friends.

will try to keep up a little better since I know you all are on the edge of your seats waiting to see what I am doing...
