Lebanese in Sweden

A few classmates and I decided to start up a Friday night dinner thing...our group consists of people from all different countries so we are each going to take turns making food from home.  Friday night was Lebanese night.  We got off to a late start, but had an incredible time with good food and good friends.  The meal was above and beyond and set the bar really high for everyone else.  Here is my best description of what we ate:
  • hummus
  • tabbouleh
  • a rice sushi looking thing
  • spinach pastries
  • meat footballs (seriously it is what they looked like)
  • a potato/rice mashed thing
  • a delicious rice beef and chicken with cinnamon dish

Arvind (India), Sam (Canada/Britain), Marc (Canada), Jad and Farah (Lebanon), Rosanna (Mexico), Jana (Germany), Diego (Mexico), Me!, Carolina (Mexico), Petter (Sweden)

It was so good!  And I for sure have to come up with an incredible menu for American night...next up is Canadian/British night in two weeks.

When it comes to American night, you should just buy a bunch of McDonald's happy meals. Full fill the stereotype.

Kier: they bought the tabbouleh...too much work to make.

Ike: every single person in that group said the same thing on friday...if I am running late that is the plan, mc'ds and Budweiser

chocolate chip cookies are a must! Bring your suitcase home and we'll fill it with the ingredients for a proper American meal.
