Day 18 - Thursday July 9, 2009

Convo. class talked about make up and some accessories.  Had to explain what a thong was, not by choice mind you, I was asked...another awk moment.  I also had to explain a tiara vs crown and why you would never need to carry a scepter in this century.

CKE and I ordered lunch in Chinese today.  I said, "I would like to eat a pork hamburger please," all in Chinese.  We think the owners loved it.

Chinese class at 1:10: we took a listening quiz and all did really well.  Class was supposed to be 3 hours, but with one hour to go we said our brains were mush and just chatted with our tutors in English.  We made plans to have breakfast with them on Monday - apparently there is a place that serves omelets in town!  Funny thing is we can't remember either of their names and too much time has passed to ask.

All of my 1-on-1's were cancelled so I had the afternoon off to relax and watch movies.
